Dal Makhani Spice Kit

What’s Included 

• 1 Dal Makhani recipe (makes ~8 cups)
• 1 ½ cups whole black gram (sabut urad dal) + ½ cup red kidney beans (rajmah)
• 1 pinch hing + 2 tsp cumin seeds + ½ tsp turmeric powder + 1 cinnamon stick + 2 bay leaves
• ½ tsp fenugreek (methi) seeds
• 2 tsp garam masala + 2 tsp ground cumin + 2 tsp coriander powder
• 2 tsp red chile powder
• 1 tsp cardamom seeds
• 2 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)

Items listed together are packaged together as they are added to the recipe at the same time. We always package the red chile separately so you can adjust the heat. None of the other spices add heat, just flavor.

Items not included: ghee or vegetable oil, yellow onion, ginger, garlic, fresh chiles, tomato paste, salt, cream, and water.
