SEXY SNACKING, ANYONE? Absolutely! No Holiday Season would be complete without an option to snack. But, as I continue on my healthy best-me journey, I felt compelled to create snacks that I could feel really good about incorporating into my day. Snacks that when I ate them didn't weigh on me physically or mentally. Of course, as with anything, moderation is key. But, incorporating some of these options into your day not only gives you something to look forward to, but gives you something that when you eat it will actually fuel your body rather than deplete your energy. In all of my snacks, I've reduced the sugar down to an absolute minimum. To the point that in my granola it almost left me wanting a little more sweet - but there's where I wanted it to land so that I could make up that extra sweetness with fruit. The sugar in all of these snacks came from maple syrup except for a tiny bit of brown sugar in the pecans. And, the beauty in all of these snacks was that I actually baked them in the oven.
