Stovetop: Two-Ingredient Crispy Ghee Hash Browns
Ghee hash browns plated

MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH JUST GOT EASIER.

If your mom is anything like me, she loves a good hash brown. I never realized they could be this easy. A few years back, I started making simple hash browns at home by first grating a russet potato and then cooking it up on a well-seasoned skillet with ghee, or clarified butter. I didn't bother adding any flour or eggs as binder. Instead, on a whim, I just heated the ghee (you can also use a quality oil - even olive) and then added the grated potato.

Just one is enough for two people. I pressed it down, put a lid on it, and let it brown up. Then, flip it and cook until both sides are golden brown and absolutely delicious. I finish it off with a Himalayan pink salt and our chaat masala. Honestly, this is the most delicious and addictive thing I make. Give it a try and let me know what Mom thinks!

Simplicity! I’ve always shied away from hash browns because it seemed so unnecessarily complicated to juggle with the rest of the breakfast main. Just followed your guidance, and Mother’s Day just went up a delicious notch!
